Submarine reference materials kept by Charles Schroeder, of Orfordville, Wis. whose U.S. Navy career spanned twenty-two years of submarine service. Includes a photocopied history from U.S. Navy Division of Naval History about the Flying Fish and photocopies from the "Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships." There are copy print photographs of Billfish, Bowfin, Mapiro, Skate, Spade Fish, and Tenosa submarines at sea and returning from a raid in the Sea of Japan during World War II. Also found is a copy print photograph of the launching of the Flying Fish.
